Waves of Wonder - Blue Labradorite // Silver Necklace

This gorgeous flashy blue labradorite is set in fine silver and hangs on an 18” sterling silver chain. 

Just as enchanting as the ocean, the blues in this stone are sure to mesmerize. The stone sits on a hand textured ocean themed fine silver backplate, so she’s just as beautiful and unique on the back as she is on the front. 

Labradorite has an uncommon characteristic of displaying a beautiful iridescence - commonly called flash - with shifting hues of blue, green, yellow, and occasionally purple or orange. As the stone is moved, unique flashes of vibrant color can be seen dancing and shimmering across the surface of the stone, creating a mesmerizing, ethereal effect.

Given the nature of handmade items and working with gemstones and crystals from the earth, nothing is truly ‘perfect’. Sterling silver, brass, and copper will develop a lovely patina over time creating a character unique to the wearer, or can they be polished back to their original shine with a polishing cloth (provided with every order).
